The Day Shall Come

The wording of the question implies that there was more than one Brass Eye creator. Our team, none of whom had come across The Day Shall Come, fell into this trap and went for Armando Iannucci. (Our opponents, who I suspect had come across The Day Shall Come, correctly went for Chris Morris.)

Morris and Iannucci collaborated in On the Hour (BBC Radio 4, 1991–2) and its BBC2 television spin–off The Day Today (1994). Morris, however, gets sole credit for the creation of Brass Eye (Channel 4, 1997, and one episode in 2001), which involved several of the same writers as the previous two titles. Iannucci was not involved.
